Not Just Your Photographer, Your Soon-to-Be Pal
I'm a mother, a crazy cat lady, a coffee queen, and much more. Also super proud to be an LGBTQI AGING EDUCATION AMBASSADOR and MASP Award-Winner. Oh, and let's not forget I am also a Blundstone Boots model...just kidding, but I might as well be considering that’s all I wear.
My first interaction with a camera was in early life. I vividly remember being 5 years old and crying while being photographed - the only way to shut me up was by letting me take the photo instead of being in front of the camera. I'm still trying to find that photo so I can add it here.
Born and raised in Brazil, I found my calling while visiting my cousin Gui in England who also happens to be a photographer and someone who will forever inspire me. Three months following my trip, I enrolled in college for Photography & Film and the rest, as they say, is history.
Aside from photographing my beautiful couples and families, being a mother to my son, River, is a hugely important part of my life. It’s truly the most wonderful experience I’ve ever lived and for that, I’m forever grateful.

What inspired me
- A Story From My Heart
When I was 20 years old and still living in Brazil, I told my grandpa that I wanted to participate in a photography contest, and to be considered, I had to take a picture of a colored tree. Right away he said he knew the perfect one and we went on a little adventure to find the tree. He was right, the tree was stunning and I WON the contest! The prize was good money and a one-month exhibition in the Museum of Fine Arts in São Paulo, Brazil. Pretty cool right?
But when I think of that day, the prize was just a bonus. What stays in my heart is the unforgettable experience I had with my grandpa - the adventure we went on, the laughs we had when the wind kept blowing his hat away, the heat of that afternoon, and most of all, how proud and elevated he was in his quest to help me.
It’s this photo of him that brings back all my fond memories and feelings from the day. That’s what sticks. That’s what matters most. Nothing else matches up to it, even the prize!
And I want to do the same for you. To cherish and remember the important events in your life. Documenting your experience through photos will always be one of the best investments you’ll ever make.

When I’m not photographing people, I like to do anything that involves my beloved family and friends. We love to eat, drink wine/beer, and make food that reminds us of life back in Brazil. Brazilian bread and Pão de Queijo (cheese bread) is always a favorite, so yea, we make a lot of those.
I have cute kid (you can find photos of River throwout this website) and their birth was the most magical experience and if you’re one of those who love a midwife story, this is a good one and I’d be happy to share in person.
Though I’ll always stay deeply connected to my culture and roots, I love that photography gives me the opportunity to travel and explore new places. There is no place on this planet that I wouldn’t photograph so I get out on the road whenever I can.
This is a little bit of who I am and the things I love. We all have a thing or two in common but we’re all unique in our own way, just like our stories. Photography is really what I was born to do and it’s one of my greatest joys. Big, small, or just ‘cos, I’d be honored to document your life’s special moments.

The feeling of excitement I get before every wedding shoot is addictive. The night before any wedding, you’ll find me packing all my gear - triple-checking batteries, memory cards, film for the analog camera, etc. And since I’m privileged to be attending one of the most important days in your life, I also set aside an outfit that will have me appropriately attired and looking sharp.
On the day itself, you can count on me arriving early to help you ensure everything flows smoothly. Always matching your energy, my goal is to have you and your soulmate feeling relaxed and confident throughout your big day. I’ll tie your shoes, fix your hair, chat with your parents, laugh and dance with you...supporting you through all of the things from start to finish!
From capturing you getting ready with your bridal gang to everyone sneaking in a few drinks to calm their nerves, I’ll be there to capture every detail as it all unfolds. Naturally and authentically.

MY Philosophy ...
My photography journey began 17 years ago when I was feeling out of place and found home in a camera. Frustrated with how things were changing so quickly at the time, photos gave me the much-needed reassurance that I could somewhat keep things like they were - framed memories to remind me of all the happiness and good times.
When it comes to documenting your story, my work reflects the timelessness of your love - spontaneously freezing time through photos that will have you reliving your day all over again. Tapping into your individuality while capturing your chemistry as one, it’s as organic and intimate as it can be.
